A Community Garden in Our Backyard

A Community Garden in Our Backyard

On August 21, 2018, we unveiled a brand new , Quebec. Employees joined forces with Ça Pousse! – a social initiative organized by the NDG Food Depot – to plant flowers, herbs, and seasonal veggies right in our own backyard. Ça Pousse! offers horticultural support and educational activities to share gardening skills and techniques, to help us keep our garden growing!

As a company, we try to make conscious sustainability efforts in various parts of our business, from partnerships with suppliers to the programs we participate in at the head office. We strive to give back to the planet whenever we can – because it’s the right thing to do, but also because it’s fun!

Gardens are also known to offer a stimulating environment that can be therapeutic for many people – so our HQ employees now have a place to unwind and disconnect. Ça Pousse! also installed custom pink picnic benches à la Ardene so employees can enjoy the area during their lunch or breaks.
