As Ardene’s sustainability journey continues, we are proud to announce our biggest eco-conscious collection to date, including swim made with recycled material (and just in time for spring break.)
Better for the Planet Fabrics
This new collection represents Ardene’s shift in focus to designing more products made from organic materials, recycled fibers and sustainable processes, in line with the Ardene Collective’s goals for the future. Our eco-conscious collection uses smarter fabrics to help us reduce waste and our overall carbon footprint. Fabrics like organic cotton and bamboo rayon, made from bamboo, use fewer natural resources and reduce the amount of harmful chemical fertilizers, and recycled polyester and nylon are made from recycled items like plastic waste and fishing nets; meaning less ends up in a landfill. We have eco-responsible viscose made from wood and pulp with a sustainable process, and many products with the REPREVE label, meaning the textiles are made from recycled water bottles. We are constantly looking at new options and partnerships for sourcing better, more sustainable materials and are excited about this push in the right direction for our planet.
Feel good. Do good.
Our spring break-ready collection includes all of our staples: shorts, tops and dresses made with eco-conscious fabrics and of course swim made with recycled nylon, so customers can enjoy the affordable Ardene styles they know and love while doing better for the planet. Although we started introducing eco-conscious clothing to our collections last year, this is our biggest drop to date, and we even now ship all swim and lingerie to stores on recycled and recyclable hangers! We may not be perfect, but our ultimate goal is to reach the point where we no longer have to differentiate our eco-conscious products, because they’ll all be sustainable! Looking good and doing good can go hand in hand, and we’re working hard to reach that goal!
Check out the collection.
