We’ve Raised over $1.3 Million to Help Empower Hospitalized Teens

We’ve Raised over $1.3 Million to Help Empower Hospitalized Teens

For over 5 years, we’ve partnered with the Starlight Children’s Foundation, and every holiday season we pledge to raise money to help sick children across Canada. We collected $1 customer donations in stores and online, and thanks to your generous support we were able to raise over $260,000 this year!

These donations will help support important programs such as Ward + Robes. This is an initiative that connects local designers with hospitalized teens; giving them a one-of-a-kind hospital gown to help express their unique sense of self and empower them in the most difficult time of their lives.

Additionally, Starlight funds Great Escapes and Fun Centers: programs that are both designed to help encourage sick children by giving them a little fun! The Great Escapes are activities and events for kids and their families to experience outside of the hospitals, and Fun Centers are portable entertainment units in hospitals to help children who may be limited to their beds connect with friends online, watch movies or play video games. We’re proud to help support all these initiatives each and every year.

This year, we motivated our store staff to spread the message to customers and tracked the donation transactions of our stores. We appreciate everyone’s team effort and generosity and especially want to thank our top 10 stores for going over and above.

We look forward to doing much more good with Starlight in the coming year.
